Diatomeas is an open access bilingual digital magazine developed by the Boana association and rooted in Patagonia. Diatomeas Magazine is a scientific mediation initiative, with a political ecology perspective. The initiative looks at what we know and have learned about the Patagonian region, combining artistic expression and scientific mediation. We explore how we can build a fairer society and a better environment. Through artistic expression, we encourage thinking on desirable futures for young generations.
